Add customers


You have various ways off adding customers. We are going to start with the simplest one. Go on “Customers” and click on “Add customer”.



This will allow you to add your customers one by one. You will have to complete a certain number of information. You can be as specific as you want, it is up to you. We recommend to keep your database up to date to manage your business more easily.



Be sure to use correct information. We also recommend putting email address and mobile number if you do have them. These can be used to contact you customers later via the email and SMS marketing tools provided by Appointedd (All-Inclusive). Do not forget to save when you are finished.

 

 

From appointment panel.


If you add a new appointment and enter a new customer’s information from there, this will be automatically saved in your customer database. Make sure not to enter the same customer twice by checking if this user is already registered with the appointment panel:



Just type in a letter or a name to see existing customers.


Importing a CSV File.


In the customers’ management page, you can add customers by importing a CSV (Comma separated values) file if you do not wish to add them one by one. You will need Excel. Go on import.



 From there, you can directly import your CSV file if you already have one. If not, download “import csv file” to have a model.



As the name of the format suggests, data in a CSV file is comma separated. You will need only one column for all the information, and one line per client. Follow the order of the information as stated on the first line. You do not need to put spaces.

Once you have added your customers on the spreadsheet, you can save your document and upload it on Appointedd. Click on “Chose a file”. Select your file and click on import.




If you are going to use this method again in the future, be sure to import only new customers and no the ones you have already registered, as they will appear twice if you do so. It’s better to keep your database cleaned and updated to manage your business efficiently.


Modify a customer.


You can modify a customer’s information. Check on the list of your customers or use the search panel (see “The research tools” if you need help to use it). Click on view info and on “Edit Customer”.



You will then see the customer information page. Change the information as you need and save the changes.
